Nate is a Startup Growth Specialist at the Good Food Institute, a donor-funded non-profit that is accelerating the alternative protein (plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation-derived meat, eggs, and dairy) industries. There, he consults with startups and investors to capitalize, commercialize, and scale new products and services as well as build tools for the alternative protein industry at large. He is the primary author of the 2019 Cultivated Meat State of the Industry report. Nate previously worked at a university biotechnology incubator and earned a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Kansas.
